Hi Margaret
Well I can tell you that he did not marry in the College - I have a
transcript of all College marriages in the 17th & 18th century.
His nearest parishes in Cambridge (presuming he was living in College)
would be either Holy Sepulchre or All Saints, however it was more usual
to marry in the bride's home parish........
Very few Cambs records are on the IGI because when the LDS church asked
the Bishop said No! - so only published material is included.
We are working on both Holy Sepulchre and All Saints, and on an overall
index - the originals/ films are in Cambridge Record Office.
Cheers
