Hi Peter

Well, someone in my Fawn line had some sort of
"connection" to a Blades <g>

Can you shed any light on Phoebe Blades who had a son
William Blades in 1792 illegitimately by William Fawn,
farmer of Whittlesey? William's will refers to
William Blades as " my natural son William Blades
otherwise William Blades Fawn now living with me" He
doesn't appear to have married William Blades' mother,
Phoebe, or indeed married at all, and there don't
appear to be any other children. What was he up to,
do you reckon?

Carolyn
