Hello there in Canada!
I have seen that John Gulliver in London BUT he wasn't a prison warder and this one was at Portland Gaol until he became superannuated and eventually went to Harston, Cambridgeshire. Maybe they were cousins? as he too, was from Dorset! And then what did he do before he became a prisonwarder the head one too! Was there a War he could've served in? I know there were a few Wars but don't know enough about them to pinpoint one he could have served in. It's just a thought. Thanks Helen Sydney Australia
