Sorry, I've only just read this series, and I think I can help you.
There is a Honey Hill (believed by some to be the 'home' of Dark Age hermit
Hunna) between Chatteris and Manea, just east of the B1098. Purls Bridge is
about 2 miles further east as the crow flies, somewhat further as the drove
winds.
