Barny Enyart,72, Kewanna,Indiana, father of Mrs Viriginia
McFarland,R.R.2 Akron,died unexpectedly at his home Monday morning.
Also surviving are one son Dean ,R.3 Rochester,Indiana, eight
granchildren and eight great-grand- children.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon in Kewana with the
Rev. James Butler officiating. Burial was in the IOOF cemetery at
Kewanna where the Masonic lodge conducted graveside services

Carolyn Enyeart
Services for Mrs Vernal K (Carloyn ) Enyeart 45 Kewana were held at
1:30pm . December 19, 1977 at the harrison Funeral home Garden Chapel
with the REv. Ron Prilliman offficiating followed by interment in the
Mentone Cemetery.
Mrs Enyeart died of cancer at 9:35Pm December 16, at the So. Bend
Memorial Hospital following a two year illness.
Born Sept 7,1932 at no. Webster,she was the daughter of J. Clyde and
Parrentha(Kindig) Johnson . Her marriage to Vernal k Enyeart occurred
Sept 12,1969 at Rochester. She formely owned and operated the Curve-In
Restaurtant at Kewanna.
She was a former member of the Harrison Center United Methodist Church
and Merry Mollies Extension homemakers Club of Mentone.
She is survived by her husband, Vernal k Enyeart, her parents, Mr and
Mrs Clyde Johnson, R 1, Mentone. three sons, Steve Benettt, Fortville,
Michael Bennett, Clovis, N. Mexico. Donald keith Jr. Kewanna and Mary
Ellen at home. one stepson Kenneth Dean Enyeart of Patoak, one brother
Gail Johnson, Texas,three granchildren, and three step grandchildren .
One daughter preceded her in death.

Mrs Daisy Enyert

A former Mentone resident, Mrs Daisy Enyert,79 South Bend, Indiana died
on October 4,1979. She was born in Mentone on October 22,1899 to Edward
and Etta( Blue) Halterman.
She married Herschel Enyert on June 28,1919 . They were the parents of
two children, Mrs Joseph (Gertrude) Doughtery,1589 Riverside Drive,
South Bend and Robert Enyert of North Liberty. She also had two
granddaughters and two great grandchildren. She also left a sister from
the Mentone area, Mrs Chancey(Opal) Tucker, and a sister-in-law, Mrs
Snowden Haltermand , also of Mentone.
Her husband died on November 29,1954 and a brother, Verl Halterman,
also preceded her in death. She had been ill for several months.
Interment was n the St. Joseph Valley Memorial park Cemetery in South
Bend.
