If you, as ENYART/ENGART/etc. researchers, have ever run across any of these
people and placed them in your database, PLEASE get in touch with me. You
will notice I've placed "va" after the ENGARD to differentiate them from
other ENGARD lines, as we don't know the immigrant line for Charles.

From descendants, I've learned that William Milton ENGARD was deserted by
his father and would never mention his father's name. They did, however,
know the mother's name, Laura DAVENPORT. So, in my research, I discovered
his father's name and his paternal mother's name.

The husband (may not have married) of Bertie, father of Charles, is not
known according to death certificate and funeral records. I have one more
step to take and that is to order microfilm on births from VA to see if the
father's name is mentioned. One elderly descendant told her daughter that
she remembers the ENGARD as being "Thomas Jefferson". Yes, we have plenty
of those. But Bertie married #2 Floyd Warriner, and #3 Tom Spears. I have
to wonder if Tom SPEARS was the Thomas Jefferson remembered by the elderly
woman.

I need all the help I can get.
