Hello All,
Like Phil, I used Frontpage 2000 for my website, which is at
http://www.judithwhite.myby.co.uk
I believe that Outlook Express includes a cut-down version of Frontpage so
Celia you could try that. I found the hardest part was getting the settings
right to upload it for the first time, but you can ring your internet
service provider for help. After that it was easy. Bear in mind that large
images take time to download and may put people off. Also, think about
people with sight impairments so try to make the text easy to see in terms
of size and background colour. Once you've published your page, you can
submit it for free to search engines such as google - see
http://www.google.com/addurl.html for details. I've had quite a few
enquiries and found several relatives as a result of publishing my web site.
Good luck!
