Diana,
Do you have some reason to think they might or are you just fishing for
connections?
Pope mentions a John CROSS who was at Ipswich and later settled in Hampton
NH. Noyes, Libby and Davis mantion several John CROSSes; the
Ipswich/Hampton man, the one in Wells who was first in Dover; one in
Watertown and one (or more) in Newcastle and Portsmouth although this one
appears to be later than the others. The Great Migration Begins may have
more information, but from the material I have at hand none of them appear
linked. The Wells man had children Mary, John, Joseph and Rebecca. Robert
had Stephen, Robert, Martha, and Elizabeth -- naming evidence doesn't
suggest a connection.
A personal plea to everyone, please, please include at least a century even
if you don't have specific dates. It really helps me (and I'm sure others
as well) know where to begin looking.
