My apologies to the list. My first attempt at posting the query had a
date in it. I got a little hasty with the second attempt 8-(

I was asking about the John Cross of Wells whose d. Mary m. Roger Hill
in 1658 and the Robert Cross whose d. Sarah m. William Butler in 1675.
To answer Lin's question, yes, I was fishing a little. I am descendant
of both John and Robert and was looking for a connection that Noyes,
Libby and Davis might have overlooked. I agree that the names of the
children do not suggest a connection.
