The document you refer to is not strictly chronological. The early records
are arranged alphabetically in sections for the early records, so you have:

BAKER 1643
BILLINGS 1643
BIRD 1640, 1641
BRADLEY 1641
CAPAN (John) 1638, 1639, (Bernard) 1638
CLAP (Nicholas) 1637, 1640, (Edward) 1637, 1640, (Roger) 1634, 1636, 1638,
1640, 1641, 1643
CLARK (Thomas) 1640, 1642, (William) 1638, 1639

all on the first page.
