Hello cousins,
While my query is not directly for Essex, it is related. I have Mary
Burnham, b. 29 Dec 1762 (dau of John & Abigail Stickney of Ipswich) who
marr. Capt. John Scott 1 Apr 1782 (Hist. of Durham, ME) They lived out
their life in Durham & Portland ME. I cannot find a link for John Scott
to the Scotts of Essex Co. and wonder if I am assuming too much (she was
b. in Essex, so maybe he was too).
Does anyone have books or CDs that could help me find his parents????
