Hello List Members... while I am not as yet following these Preston's, I have
a much later DODGE-PATCH entry that may interest someone....

Beverly vital records report the birth of twins:
PRESTON, Betsey, twin, illegitimate, Mariam ["reputed father's name Dodge."
C.R.I.], Oct. 11, 1778
PRESTON, Molly, twin, illegitimate, Mariam ["reputed father's name Dodge."
C.R.I.], Oct. 11, 1778

A handwritten note from Town of Beverly 1653 - 1890 reports the above births,
and further the records:
May 4, 1784, James Patch [e?] 7.16.0 Keeping Molly Preston one year to April 7
[May 4, 1784, James Patch [e?]] 11.14.0 [Keeping Molly Preston] till she is 18
yrs old.
