BUTCHER - COTTIS - BECKWITH - SHELLEY

I am researching these names in Bocking from 1800 - 1900.

Robert Butcher and Mary Ann Shelley married at St. Mary's, Bocking, on 17th
December 1829. Isaac Cottis and Ruth Beckwith are the other side of the
family, they married on 18th January, 1828 at the same church.

I think that Robert Butcher's parents were John Butcher and Elizabeth
Humphrey who married in Bocking on 20th July 1788. Their children were
Joseph (1795), William (1799), Mary (1802) and ROBERT (1805).

I think that Mary Ann Shelley's parents were Jonathan Shelley and Hannah Rush
who married in Bocking on 23rd January 1794. Their children were Richard
(1796), William (1798), James (1799), Daniel (1800), Isaac (1802), MARY
(1804) and Hannah (1806).

I think that Isaac Cottis's parents were Stephen Cottis and Elizabeth who
probably married outside Bocking but whose children were baptised in Bocking.
Their children were Joseph (1798), Hannah (1802), ISAAC (1805), Eliza (1808)
and Sarah (1811).

I think that Ruth Beckwith's parents were William Beckwith and Sarah who
probably married outside Bocking but whose children were baptised in Bocking.
RUTH is the
only child I have for certain and she was baptised in 1809 having been born
outside Bocking in 1805.

Robert and Mary Ann BUTCHER had the following children:
Henry, GEORGE, Rebecca, another Rebecca, Eliza and Sophia.

Isaac and Ruth COTTIS had the following children:
Stephen, Emma, Thomas, MIRA (MARIA), Elijah and Louisa.

George BUTCHER married Maria COTTIS (They are my great-grandparents) and they
had the following children:
Emma (bpt 1857), Arthur Elijah (bpt 1867), Albert Fred (bpt 1869), Charles
Herbert (bpt 1872) and WALTER GEORGE (born 20 May 1876). Walter George is my
grandfather.

I should be pleased to hear from anyone who is interested in ANY of the
people listed above.
