Hello,
You haven't signed your message or told us where you live. If you are within
reach of the Vestry House Museum in Walthamstow, London, you can research
Leyton names there (by appointment only). There is a comprehensive index of
Leyton People culled from census returns from 1821 onwards (the 1821 and
1831 census in Leyton unusually included the surname of the head of
household), and from other official records.
If it is not practical for you to get to Walthamstow, please let me know and
I will see what I can find for you next time I am there.
