Hi: Just received in the 1841 Hanningfield census film. The film box was
stamped all-over "best copy", making me just a tad bit suspicious. Well,
the vast majority of the pages were blank or almost - unreadable anyway.
The only person I could make out living there was "ditto". Has anyone ever
been to the Essex FHC and seen if they have a better copy, or is it indexed
(ha!) somewhere, or or or is the copy at "wherever" searchable and do "they"
do searches. On my knees here. Any advice welcome! Sylvia in Seattle
