If you just want to block more messages from this sender, click on
'Message', on the toolbar at the top, and then click on 'Block Sender'.

If you want to block all similar messages, it's a bit trickier. You need to
select a word that is very likely to occur in the unwanted message but not
likely to occur in messages that you want to receive. In this case 'Nigeria'
could be a good choice - unless, of course, you have friends there who may
want to contact you! Others could be 'Dollar' or 'Business'.
Having selected the word that you believe to be the most acceptable to you,
go to 'Tools' , 'Message Rules', and 'Mail'.

Select 'New' and, in box 1, I would suggest, 'Where the message body
contains specific words'.

In box 2, select 'Delete it' and in box 4 give the rule a name - any will
do. You could choose 'Nigeria Scam', for instance.

Going back to box 3, click on the high-lighted 'contains specific words' and
in the top line of the dialogue box that comes up next, type the words that
you want to use to block future similar messages and, then, the word 'ADD',
to the right.

You just select 'OK' all the way out!

There may be others on this mailing list who know a better way or who may
wish to correct something I've said but it seems to work for me.

This Nigerian scam has been going on since the 1970s, to my knowledge. Back
then, before the Internet, the scam was received by letter. In spite of all
the warnings, however, people are still falling for it. In the early 1990s,
the managing director of the company that I worked for sent 10,000 GBP to an
account in Nigeria, as asked, in the hope that he would become a millionaire
by the end of the week -.and this was in spite of me telling him that it was
a scam. He, of course, never saw the money again - and he's still not a
millionaire!

Anyway, hope this helps,

John
