Subject: Hatfield Broad Oak - Springhams

All right! I have moved another line out of Hertfordshire and over the
border into Essex. A will of 1593 shows a Nicholas Springham who is
likely my Nicholas Springham of Sawbridgeworth (married at Sheering,
Essex in 1604). His father is William Springham of Hatfield Broad Oak
who died that same year. I can't find much on Hatfield Broad Oak on the
net and there do not seem to be any 16th Century parish records. The
Essex Record Office site shows few years covered in their collection.
The LDS are better but still nothing really early. Anyone have any
experience with this parish?
