Hello listers,
I live in rural South Australia and would greatly appreciate it if someone
could do a look up for me please is in the Essex
Record.
Record is :-
ERO Ref : P/HvM1 - Havering-atte-Bower Minute Book
Havering was a peculiar and had its own records. Included in the minute
books is the lists of victuallers licenced with signs and sureties. The
Parish of Hornchurch in this peculiar and my ancestor had a pub there in
about 1812/13 that I know of. I am seeking to find out the name of the pub
and he should be shown in the above minute book. My ancestors name was
Thomas Curtis SPITTY.
As Havering was a peculiar containing only a couple of parishes I am hoping
that this will be a simple look up in the minute book and would greatly
appreciate anyone who may be able to assist us.
Thanks
Simon
