Hi Audrey
Being curious about the family I found in 1901 census I checked against 1881
census but could not find them with the birth count as Suffolk so I left the
county blank and this is they below as being born in Norfolk -again a
different age for HENRY NICE but they definitely are the same. The IGI
[below]shows his Christening: 16 NOV 1832 [Parents JAMES & ANNE NICE] I'll
e-mail you direct the full details and some other odds and ends from 1881
census

ALL BIRTHPLACES ON THIS CENSUS EXTRACT ARE ROUGHAM NORFOLK NOT ROUGHAM
SUFFOLK [THE TWO HAVE BEEN CONFUSED IN DIFFERENT CENSUSES] -ONLY THE PARISH
RECORD/BIRTH CERTIFICATE WILL SHOW THE TRUE BIRTHPLACE AND SOLVE THIS
MYSTERY I SUSPECT IT IS SUFFOLK SINCE THERE ARE NO OTHER 'NICE' BORN IN
ROUGHAM NORFOLK
