In 1937 (Kelly) the Wheatsheaf, 64 Barrack Street, Colchester
I would try the Local Studies Dept., Colchester Public Library for a photograph. I understand that they hold the Essex collection. Colchester Museum also has some, and the Essex Record Office (they do have some images on-line).
