Searching for descendants or information on Lucinda WILBURN b: circa
1780-1784, VA. She married Mr. EVANS, about 1800 in VA or TN. They had the
following children: Mathilda (PARSONS) b: c-1801, Thomas c-1803, Martha
c-1805 and Claiborne Walter EVANS b: Sep 15, 1807. They may have had more
children, but these are all I know of. Claiborne was supposedly born in TN.
In 1810, Lucinda m: Mr. SEABOURNE and they had 3 "known" children: Jane b:
c-1812, James Monroe b: Nov 28, 1814 and "Miss" SEABOURNE c-1816. They were
all born in TN.
I believe that one of Lucinda's daughters may have married my gggrandfather,
Benjamin JACKSON in TN before 1828, (his first daughter, Martha Jane was born
in TN, about 1828) and then removed to Washington County, MO. Benjamin and
Mrs. Jackson died 1847, Washington County, MO. and in the 1850 census,
Jefferson County, MO, Lucinda EVANS is 66 years old, born in VA and living
with the Jackson children. Claiborne EVANS owned land just west of Caledonia,
Washington County and died Jan 10, 1862. He married Nancy THOMAS about 1831
in TN.
Any info on Lucinda or her parents/siblings or children would be appreciated.
Thanks
