Here are some of the problems I have encountered taking a GEDCOM from
Generation v8.5.1 to FH

Cause of death has the wrong tag - you need to take your GEDCOM into a text
editing program (I use UltraEdit) and search and replace "1 CAUS" with "2 CAUS"

Generations also puts the cause of death under occupation! You also need
to move your cause of death and it's source from occupation to death as below.

2 DATE
2 PLAC
2 SOUR
1 BURI
2 DATE
2 PLAC
2 NOTE
1 OCCU
2 SOUR
1 CAUS - ie from here
2 SOUR

1 DEAT
2 DATE
2 PLAC
2 CAUS - ie to here
2 SOUR
1 BURI
2 DATE
2 PLAC
2 NOTE
1 OCCU
2 SOUR

The source problem is also quite easy to solve. Replace the TEXT tag with
TITL tag so they don't transfer in as unnamed sources. You will find your
sources at the bottom of your GEDCOM

1 TEXT Birth certificate

to this
