Hello
Just a list of random wishes for FH. In no particular order, but just
noted as I come across them. This is in addition to all previous
suggestions by other users, which I heartily agree with....
1. The ability to scan documents in from within the program.
2. In order to minimize column width when I print out reports I have
tried to use the medium and short date fields. However they seem to
ignore totally any dates that are of the before, after type etc. Is it
possible to have an abbreviated version of Birth.Date?
3. For those of us whose main computer is a notebook with no numeric
keypad, can we have a quicker way of zooming in and out of a diagram,
similar to the + /- of the numeric keypad?
Niggles
1. Have noticed that if I copy a query result directly into Excel or
Access they have problems with all the date options. They seem to see a
standard date somewhere in a column and then reject all the other
betweens, abouts etc as not being valid. This is with the columns or
fields being designated as text or general.
The only solution I have found so far is to save the result set as a
*.txt file, and then import that into Access etc, which does work
beautifully. I just wonder if there is a simpler way?
Still happily experimenting with FH
