Thankyou for your reply. I don't think I made myself very clear in my
question 2. What I meant to ask was does anyone insert into FH, images that
have been saved onto their hard drive directly from the internet, eg
directly saved from the 1901 census, as opposed to images that have been
saved to the hard drive only after having been scanned in from a paper copy.
If anyone has inserted into FH images from the 1901 census without ever
having used a paper copy, then I would like to know what programme they used
to read and then save the census image to their hard drive and what format
the image file was saved in eg tif, bmp etc.
I hope that has explained it better.
