Peter

Before I saw your email, I hadn't been aware that there was any problem with
re-ordering siblings in diagrams. Since I read it I've been trying to work
out what could be going wrong. And I have discovered one thing, which is
that there is a bug in F.H. and you cannot re-order siblings in diagrams at
all if you have checked "No Spouses or Duplicates" - either the button on
the diagram toolbar (the leftmost of the group of 3), or the menu command
under Diagram > "Spouses and Duplicates". However, I'm not sure if that
accounts for what you have described because I understood you to be saying
that the re-ordering did take place when you clicked the Move Up/Down
buttons, but the diagram didn't show the change unless you refreshed it?
That's not what happens if you try to re-order when "No Spouses or
Duplicates" is checked. Basically nothing happens. No re-ordering takes
place, and refreshing the diagram afterwards doesn't make any difference.

Is it possible that actually the re-ordering didn't happen at all in your
case too? Could you let me know whether you think that the problem you
found is the same one that I found - ie. that re-ordering siblings simply
doesn't work if you aren't showing spouses or duplicates; or if you think
that the problem you are having is another separate problem? Thanks.

I've had a good go at testing re-ordering siblings when 'Show Duplicates' or
'Show Spouses' are checked, and so far it always appears to work for me.
