John

Forgive me for replying via the group but it might be the best way of
judging local interest. Like Patrick I also live in the Preston area. If we
can muster sufficient interest it may be feasible to share the cost of
arranging some kind of course.

Pat

These are in fact tutorials rather than classes. The dates for the 2005
events at the SoG are listed below and full details should soon be available
on the Society's website www.sog.org.uk The full calendar of genealogical
events, including all of those at the SoG, can be found on the GENUKI site
www.genuki.org.uk under GENEVA

29 Jan - Using Family Historian (for beginners)
5 Feb - Using Family Historian (Practical)
6 Jul - Using Family Historian (for beginners)
14 Sep - Using Family Historian (In Depth)
8 Oct - Using Family Historian (Practical)
14 Oct - Using Family Historian (for beginners)

As for events outside of London I will happily answer questions from people
who think that they can get a group together to cover the costs. Please
email me off list.

Regards
John Hanson

I think John Hanson runs courses on FH under the umbrella of The Society of
Genealogists. But unfortunately they are always in London.

I would love to attend one but as I live near Preston I'm afraid cost rules
it out..
