I wonder if the problem was in not correctly using the Add/Remove programs
gadget in Windows Control Panel? If one also deletes the folder containing
FH, one runs the risk of deleting data (depends where you keep the data
files.

The uninstaller will only remove what it installs which does not include the
data files.

It's a good policy to keep data files well away from the program files
folder.
