The first thing to do is talk to the printer as to what formats he can use.

The EMF format which you can save diagrams to is very useful, if they
can read it.

If not you can use PDF995 (a free download) to create a PDF file, but
remember to set the page size to a large size, when I use this
technique I normally output to an A0 page size.
