Could someone on the list please tell me how to produce private notes that
can be hidden. I want to share my family tree with other family members but
would like to first transfer some details, at present in Notes, to an area
which will not automatically appear in a report or web page.

Also is there a special way of entering contact details that again will
remain private?

Steve,
Simply enclose the text you want to hide within double square brackets and
make sure the box on e.g. the report options "include private notes" is deact
ivated. I 'm not sure about contact details, but anything you put in the notes
section within the double brackets will remain hidden.
