Subject: Searching by Place

I think I have mentioned on this site before that I do a lot of my work with
individuals, (particularly looking for family links) using FHs search tools.
The best for me is
Tools / Work with Data / Places (though the Occupations list is great too).
I then enter the Place and view all associated Records.
I ensure that I am consistent in ensuring that any new place names I enter
are recognised hamlets, townships or parishes, not individual addresses.(I
use GENUK to check place names, and specific addresses go under the freeform
address field).
A Place name might be eg.
Lund (hamlet), Gateforth(township), Brayton (parish), North Yorkshire
(County), England (Country)
or
Chelsea, London, Middlesex, England
Unfortunately, at the moment, if you type in a place name to do a search,
eg. Brayton, it will only list Brayton if it was the first named place. So
all those individuals living at eg. Lund in the parish of Brayton wont come
up.
Is there a way around this, so that all references to brayton will come up
whether or not they are Place 1, Place 2, Place 3, Place 4 ???
Cheers
