Hayley
the problem is that you have chosen the 'No Spouses or Duplicates' option.
Effectively this means "No spouse info" (and in fact in version 3 that is
what it has been relabelled as, for greater clarity). If you want spouse
information to appear in a box, you need to pick the 'Show duplicates'
Spouse Display option (in version 3 this is called "One box per marriage" -
which again is clearer). With this option, anyone who has more than one
marriage gets an extra box for each extra marriage. People with either 0 or
1 marriages, get only one box. The text scheme is designed to only show
spouse and marriage date info in descendant boxes if you're not showing
spouse boxes (because if you are showing spouse boxes, all that info is
displayed in the spouse box), and if you *are* showing duplicates (i.e. one
box per marriage).
