Hi,
I have just deleted my tree on GR and been left with my 2x Great Grandfather's 1st wife, born 1823, as the root. Now waiting on GR to fix.

Thanks Lynne I have done that and last night it worked and converted a lot
of names to "Living" even in the notes.
However when I uploaded a GEDCOM file today it just showed all the names
even with that box checked. I tried several times but without success.
I have deleted my tree on Genes Reunited for the time being. I might try the
system Jane Taubman suggested and run two files. I was trying to avoid that
though.
