The User Agreement states that the program may be installed on one
desktop and one laptop computer providing both are not used
concurrently. So yes you can do so.

I would probably download the 2.3 CD detecting version from the Calico
Pie site to install 2.3

and then upgrade using the 3.0 CD and then upgrade to 3.1.2
