Firstly apologies for non content send - anaesthetic brain....

I think that in fact there is a workaround on this one from my reading of
the ASUS site (as I think its the same machine under a different name?) -
rootle on Amazon for "ASUS - eee PC 701 4G" - it looks as if you can get a very
slightly more expensive version with windows already on, but that the box
that comes with the linux version has instructions on how to load windows xp,
though its not clear if xp comes in the box or not. The reviews on Amazon are
also interesting - the 701 is described as "what the heck" money (huh!!)
whereas the bigger memory 901 is too expensive. I am very tempted by this from
the reviews and having had a look at it in PCWorld - I can see using it out
and about (and having just been in hospital without the necessary tools, this
would have done the job that a pocket surfer did not...)

Can one of our computer experts please help? Will I be able to run FH 3 on
RM's Minibook, which runs Linux and has 516Mb memory and 4Gb hard disk?
It sounds like an ideal compromise between a laptop and a PDA for carrying
around Record offices etc. [This is assuming that Santa can be
persuaded......]
Best wishes,
David
