Hi All,
In all the newsletters I've done, I've only handed in a hard copy to the
printer -- actually had them photocopied. Cost has always been a factor.
Although now that I think of it, one of my newsletters is a membership one
and I could probably spend a little more on good paper.....is it worth it?
Do you think people appreciate it? Or are they just interested in what the
newsletter says?
I use Microsoft Publisher (less than 2000, I think). I have Aldus
Pagemaker (which I used to use in an old version and liked) but haven't
tried it yet. I'm not too fond of computer programs or switching. I'd
prefer to stick with one program, even though I have complaints, than to
learn a new program. I'd thought of doing one newsletter in Pagemaker and
one in Publisher, just so they'd look and be very different, but I never got
around to it. (Now, I have only one issue left of one newsletter before I
pass it on to the next editor -- hooray!)
I've never used Word for a newsletter, although I receive one that's
done in Word and it looks fine.
Sorry I'm not more help, I guess that's why I'm here.
Nancy
