Hi Linda
Last year I did a Christmas issue for a specific country. For fillers I
used: Christmas menus from the 1800s, early 1900s adverts for Christmas
goods, what Christmas was like in the 1800s.
There was a copy of a 1800s Victorian catalogue (from London, England) at
the library. Also, old newspaper archives were useful.
