I'm not sure if I'm doing this right, (posting) but since someone inquired
about those of us on the list, I thought I'd put my two cents in.

I got my first family newsletter out as scheduled (October 1st) and just
received our ISSN last week. It was more work than I thought it would be
and I've taken a break since but need to get moving in order to get the
January 1st issue out.

Getting information from family members was tough. This week I will send a
request out for the January newsletter and hope I will get a better
response. Any suggestions on how to approach this?

I did get some responses from the first newsletter - nothing overwhelming -
but nice comments which encouraged me to continue this venture. I'm hoping
that as I do more of the newsletters they will become easier and not so
time-consuming. Thoughts on this topic would be welcome too.
