> As I've mentioned before I have been using themes for my newsletters and have begun to run out of ideas for themes. so far I have used marriage, babies, Christmas issue, Mothers day, school days and a War issue (I haven't actually published all of them yet but have them all in hand so that I can add to each one as contributions come in. I could do with some new themes and was wondering if anyone has any ideas?

Linda,

How about devoting an issue to a particular person in your family (living or deceased) and having family members share their memories of that person. That will give you quite a few issues right there.

A potentially funny theme that came up in one of the genealogy email lists I participate in is memories of "Outhouses I Have Known"--should give the youngsters in the family a real laugh! (In case the terminology is different in the UK, an "outhouse" was the term for the WC outside.) :o)

Best regards,
Jeanne Nelson
