Hi Tisha!

What a great idea you had - a newsletter naming contest! I'll bet the person who
sent that title in will be so proud to see it in print! What does Ohana mean?

My newsletter is called NeumanNotes. I was going to call it Neumann News, but
discovered there was already a publication by that title (for a church of St. John
Neumann). Then I realized I'm really publishing research notes more than news,
so it fits!

I put the two words together like that because, although most of the Neumanns in
the family spelled it with a double "N" at the end, some also spelled it with just
one. For the logo, I used a font that looked old-fashioned to me, and stretched
the title with WordArt, so it's has an arch in the middle - hard to describe - wasn't
exactly how I wanted it, but came out close to the idea... Its focus is just on the
Neumann branch and allied lines(my maternal grandmother's side), which has
Danish and Caribbean roots.

Someday (in the far-off future - hahaha) I hope to publish another newsletter for a
different branch of the family - but how do I come up with a clever title for the name
Schnakenberg?!?!??? Egads.
