A little further on this topic...
Another wonderful use for the PDF writer is sharing reports and 'printouts' from my genealogy software. My package (FTM) does NOT allow me to copy-and-paste within it. Up until now if I wanted to share info, I had a couple of choices: (1) print out and mail/fax the pages, or (2) make a ftm or gedcom file to share. The second option was only good for sending info to folks who have genealogy software, of course.
With PDF Factory, I have been able to print ahnentafels, pedigrees, family group sheets, etc. to PDF and send as email attachments. Very nifty.
Bye now!

If you're looking for a reasonably priced way to create pdf files, PDF Factory might just fit the bill. PDF Factory is "shareware" (free to evaluate, but if you plan to keep using it you pay a nominal fee to register).
