Hello everyone,

I have been publishing our Hanks family newsletter since May of 1991. It
started out as eight pages (one 11x17 folded) and is now 16+ pages ( four
11x17 folded) depending on contributions from subscribers.

I use Word Perfect for the newsletter because I used that program when
I was working and was familiar with it. There are probably easier programs
now for beginners. I send the newsletter out in white 10x12 envelopes
(always first class) which makes a nice presentation with the newsletter
being white.

I print the newsletter on a HP Deskjet 1220c which has the capacity to
print up to 13 x 19. I use color throughout the newsletter on the masthead,
headlines, clipart, etc. I scan photos and import them into the newsletter
or sometimes people will sent me photos via email as a file attachment
or they will send me a disk with photos. These I can easily import into
the newsletter.

The cost of the newsletter is $12.00 a year. Back issues are $3.00.

If anyone would like a sample copy of the newsletter, please email
me your land address and I will send one to you.

Regards,

Barbara Baber
