Thanks for the suggestion. I use a simple text editor with macro
capabilities that changes all the lines to "-" "|" and "+" symbols,
and the editing is much easier to do than in a Windows program that
changes everything and messes up the word wrap/line lengths that
you've used -- much like it did to your 5-generation pedigree chart
below (It came through like that before the ">" marks were added).

About three minutes worth of editing allows me to turn a descendant
chart (w/boxes, and all vital statistics) into the following:

I just think the Windows versions should allow the same thing -- or
produce a report that could be easily edited for incorporation into
messages.
