Hi Wayne & all,
Your various posts show one common thread. If the data files are in a
directory path that when combined with the filename (+extension) is MORE
THAN 60 CHARACTERS LONG, then 22 file backups are being made.
The must be a problem in the Zip program/DLL that will not allow fully
formed pathnames over this length to be correctly processed in the case
of the index files.
Looking at the test examples Joyce posted
C:\Program Files\Parsons Technology\Family Origins\Test1.??? gives 35
files
60 character path & filename length (including file extension)
C:\Program Files\Parsons Technology\Family Origins\Test11.??? gives 22
files
61 character path & filename length
Over to you Bruce.
