Subject: Patch to 7.01

The first message below is identical to my situation EXCEPT I reinstalled
7.0 from the original CD to my own computer. The patch that worked the
first time would not work a second time. The problem was easily solved by
overwriting the 7.0 .exe file with the 7.01 .exe file which resulted from
the first application.

Since there was no real problem I'm sorry to continue chastising a deceased
equine, but it's nice to see confirmation that a peculiarity exists and
that the cells are still more or less intact.

Lewis,

The "patch" was issued to correct a problem
that the first issues of 7.0 had. Later issues
of 7.0 were probably corrected before they were
issued and the "patch" is "rejected". Once
"patched" for a given problem, it don't need to
be "patched" again for the same problem.
