I have used Family Origins for about 3 years now but have found some
features that it seems to lack. Maybe I just haven't found yet how to
activate these features.

When printing a cascading pedigree other programs will give you the option
to print an index of the names contained in the report. Will FO also print
this index? I haven't been able to find that feature.

Also, when printing a cascading pedigree, a few generations back my lines
tie in to each other. FO does not recognize this and prints the parents
each time they occur. I have seen printed pedigree charts from other
programs that recognize this and print a note in the name line that says
"This person is the same as No. xxx on Chart No. xxx." You then have to go
to page xxx to see that persons descendents. This saves lots of paper when
printing large pedigrees but also lets you know where your lines join
together.

Does the new 7.0 version have these features? Are there plans to add them
in the next version?

I love FO but am considering changing programs to one that has these
features.
