Hi Joyce -
My line is through Patrick Falconer, the immigrant and wife, Deliverence Cook,
their son Charles 1731-1803 and wife, Hannah Morse 1742-1765 and their
daughter, Hannah who married Asa Page. I have some information going back to
Alexander Falconer who died ca 1499 - all info I have is:
1. Alexander Falconer, died ca 1499
2. George Falconer of Halkerton Scotland, died ca 1511 - m. Elizabeth Erskin,
daughter of John Erskin of Dun & Katherine Monypenny
3. David Falconer of Halkerton Scotland - b. ca 1495, d. ca 1549 - m. Mariot
Dunbar, dau. of Alexander Dunbar of Conzie & Janet Sutherland
4. Alexander Falconer of Halkerton, b. ca 1523, d. ca 1587, m. Elizabeth
Douglas, dau. of Archibald Douglas of Glenbervie and Agnes Keith
5. Archibald Falconer, partioner of Coltfield, Scotland, b. ca 1565 in
Coltfield, Morayshire, Scotland, d. 1631, m. Jean Dunbar - sister or dau. of
William Dunbar of Hemprigis, Scotland.
6. John Falconer of Tulloch, Warden of Scottish mint. b. ca 1620 in Tulloch,
Scotland, d. ca 1682, ma. Agnes Spens - dau. of James Spens of Alves Kirktoun
& Agnes Tulloch. John Falconer allegedly committed suicide in 1682. As a
mint official, his estate owed a large sum to the King. Although his son,
James Falconer of Phesdo paid it off by 1686, the situation did not look
promising in 1684 for Patrick.
7. Patrick Falconer,d. 1692, married Hannah Jones, born 1660
8. Patrick Falconer, 1692-1735, married Deliverence Cook, 1695/6 - 1781, dau.
of Thomas Cooke and Sarah Mason.
9. Charles Faulkner 1731-1803, m. Hannah Morse (1742-1765) in 1760, dau. of
John Morse and Hannah Pierce.
Any connections any where?
Love to hear from anyone.
Thanks -
Sue ()
