Dear Loran and FAY Folks,
I think that the Israel FAY of Loran's inquiry of FAY-D-Digest 01 #36, may
by Israel FAY 6 [OPF # 304-3] This individual was born after 1810,
although his birth date is not given in the text. His brother, Jesse
Dunbar FAY 6, was born Oct. 6, 1810. Given a minimum of 9 months after a
birth, this would put Israel FAY 6 as born in 1811 or 1812. OPF lists this
Israel Fay as being born in West Bethany, NY, where his family moved in
1816. You might want to revisit this possibility. {OPF pp. 252]

Two other Israel FAY's exist, but their dates are somewhat earlier.
