Have just received this, does anyone know any more about it.

> Sir, July 1988 will be the centenary of the arrival in Australia, from
England, of John Edward Featherstone.
On Sat. July 2nd, his descendants will gather for a reunion at the Parkhurst
State School.
I would like, through this column, to extend an invitation to all of John
Edwards descendants to join us on the day.

At 10.30am a tree will be planted in the Kershaw gardens to mark the event,
after which, from 11.30am on, the families will gather at the school.

I would also like to extend an invitation to the relatives of Wilhelmina
Timm whom John married at North Rockhampton on 2-4-1896 to join us on the
day.
