After receiving your message re: Wm.'s ancestors I dug out the box with the
back issues of the "Featherstone Family News" and sure enough, you are
correct, I found the article you made reference to. Its in Volume 1 Issue 9
Winter 1998, pages 12-14. I cross-checked the information I found in the LDS
records against both Ian and Beryl's research and am quite pleased that my
findings appear to comfirm the information contained in these articles. I am
most pleased that there was also a picture of the Packwood House included. I
would love to have a copy of this picture in a .jpg file if anyone has it.
I have also confirmed that William Featherstone was transported to Accomack
County, VA by Robert Richardson. [Per Broderbund Family Archives CD #187
Virginia Geneaologies #3, 1600s-1800s.]
Based on the additional information provided in Ian's and Beryl's articles, I
am now researching LDS again for further supporting sources for some of the
other children and spouses.
