I know that there is a Family Tree Maker CD user submitted tree that has
Henry Featherstonehaugh and Katherine Heneage as Charles Featherstone c. 1637
parents....but I have been unable to prove that theory through any other
source. In fact, most of the information I have found on Sir Henry
Featherstonehaugh and Katharine Heneage specifically state they only had the
two children Heneage/Henage and his sister, Grace, per Henry's will.
Therefore, I do not believe that Charles Featherstone circa 1637 was their
son. There is a very interesting article in Volume 1, Issue 12, October
1999-Autumn, of the Featherstone Society Family Newsletter that covers this
family line, which you may find very helpful, that was written by one of our
members, Beryl Featherstone, called "Essex Featherstones."
